Traditional use

The Ritual

Hold the bundle over a heat-resistant dish. Light the tip until it catches, then gently blow out the flame so the bundle smoulders. Allow the smoke to disperse naturally through the space, keeping the bundle over the dish to catch any ash. When finished, extinguish completely by pressing the lit end into sand or another suitable fire-safe material.

Never leave a smouldering bundle unattended. Use only in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials. Always use over a suitable heat-resistant dish.
